How Do We Differ From The Rest?
Some photographic studios may offer cheap deals for their studio sessions, but then charge very expensive prices for the prints you want to order. These studios insist on retouching a large number of the photographs taken on the day, whether you wish to order them or not, and therefore have to pass this cost on to you for their time and labour spent in digital retouching.
The same studios will often insist that you return to their premises to view the photographs at a time that is convenient for them so that they can be present during the viewing and encourage you to buy more prints.
At Peter Alvey's studios we adopt a very different approach. The photographs taken during your portrait session are all uploaded to a password protected website for you to view BEFORE they are retouched. This benefits our customers in several different ways.
It means you can view your photographs wherever and whenever you want to, and if you wish others to be able to view them you may give them your password details to allow them access. We do not insist on being present when you view your images, however many you order is entirely up to you, there is no "hard sell."
Because we only retouch the photographs that you want to have printed, we can keep our costs down, which is reflected in our exceptionally competitive print prices. Your photographs will look great when you see them on the screen, but after retouching they will look absolutely amazing.
All our studio portraiture is available as beautiful colour, black and white prints or contemporary hi contrast colour. Whatever you choose your stunning studio portrait will be supplied in a mount ready to frame, and all our mounts are supplied as standard sizes so you can buy "off the shelf" frames from high street stores.
